Grateful Head Studio

Grateful Head Studio Branding was a rebranding project for a beauty and wellness studio in Danville, IL, offering services like hair care, facials, massage, and a red-light sauna. The studio sought a new logo after discovering their original Etsy-purchased design was being used by another business. I created a unique and cohesive identity that reflected their calming, natural values.
The new logo features a modern, one-line silhouette of a face, incorporating three meaningful symbols—a butterfly, dragonfly, and bird—representing the owner’s lost loved ones. These symbols also appear in a custom brand pattern, tying the identity together with a soft, earthy color palette. The tagline, Nurture and Glow, reinforces the studio’s mission of self-care and empowerment.
Designed using Adobe Illustrator and Procreate, the rebrand extends beyond digital media. The studio has produced shirts and banners for pop-up events as shown in the attached photo (featuring the owner and her daughter), with plans for additional signage and applications on packaging and indoor art installations. The refreshed branding provides a cohesive, professional identity that unifies their social media, physical space, and marketing efforts, setting them apart from other competitors and certainly keeping them from running into the same mistake with their previous logo. Grateful Head Studio now has a distinctive, meaningful brand that reflects its values and resonates with its clients.
